Watercolor Log Cabin (Sort Of)

Watercolor Log Cabin (Sort Of)

This Log Cabin is one of my favorite quilts and was made several years ago (before anyone had ever heard of a Watercolor Log Cabin) as the prototype design for a Works-In-Progress demonstration quilt for my old guild, the Molly Pitcher Stitchers.  It is made from multicolored florals and blends to a lovely plum overtone in the darks.  It was machine quilted by Linda Keesler (Luna) on her longarm in a lovely meandering design and resides on my bed.  A real photo will be posted eventually.

Another, duplicate quilt was assembled by me from blocks made by MPS guild members, was used to demonstrate floor frame quilting and was later raffled off to one of the people who quilted on it at the show.

We hope to see you soon in #QuiltChat™ !
