This 46"x46" quilted wallhanging was originally made for my studio, but has never hung there. It is
machine pieced, using strip-piecing methods, from a pattern in the book
"Quilts, Quilts and More Quilts". It is mostly hand quilted, with some
machine meandering in lavender thread to give the feather wreaths a "Wedgwood-like"
effect. The inner border is a free-standing folded bias insert. This quilt won
Hon. Mention, Viewer's Choice at the 1995 Molly Pitcher Stitchers Quilt Show in
Freehold, NJ.
